Haas School of Business 2015-2016 Application Deadlines

Haas Business School
At the Haas School of Business, there are three MBA application rounds, with the first round closing in October. 

Two consortium deadlines are also open. The fall class consists of about 240 students. Approximately 3,550 applications are received by the Haas School of Business each year.

Concurrent degrees are available in program health management, JD law and international area studies. 

Academics, professional experience, leadership abilities and quantitative proficiency are areas that the school emphasizes when selecting which candidates to admit to the school. 

Deadlines for the 2015-2016 application cycleare as follows:

Before you rush and submit your application, make sure that you include these materials with your online application:  GMAT or GRE score reports, essays, resume, college transcripts and two professional recommendation letters.

It is encouraged that recommendation letters be written and submitted by a supervisor or current employer.

Average GPAs that students have is at least a 3.0.

Applying to the Haas School of Business from outside the United States? You’ll need to also submit TOEFL or IELTS test scores, with TOEFL being the preferred English proficiency test.

Concerning essays, there are three required essays.

The longest of the three essays centers around your career plans post graduation. You have up to 500 words to write the essay. In addition to writing about your future plans, share how attending the Hass School of Business will help you to achieve these plans.

The second essay asks you to choose a song that best describes you. You have 250 words to explain why the song describes you so fully.

For the third essay, write about a professional or personal experience that caused you to profoundly perceive the world differently.

You also have the option to write about a significant achievement that you made and why you are proud of the achievement. Or you can write about a tough decision that you made and what made the decision a tough one. This third essay is limited to 250 words.

Haas School of Business permits you to write and submit an optional essay. Maximum words for the optional essay are 500. For the optional essay, write share something about yourself that you were not able to get across in the other essays.

Interviews are only by invitation. Locations where interviews are conducted are on campus as well as at cities in different parts of the world.
