Chioma
Isiadinso, M.Ed., Founder/CEO
Chioma founded
EXPARTUS based on her vision of personal branding as a key component
of a successful admissions process and her passion to enable others
to realize their life's dreams. Previously, Chioma served as an
Assistant Director of Admissions and a Member of the Admissions
Board at Harvard Business School, where she reviewed applications,
interviewed U.S. and international candidates, and developed a marketing
strategy focused on minority candidates and the MBA program. Chioma
was also Director of Admissions at the Carnegie Mellon University
School of Public Policy and Management. Additionally, she designed
and conducted numerous professional development workshops and seminars
for undergraduates, addressing curriculum selection, career development
and adjusting to the college environment. Chioma graduated with
Honors from Hobart and William Smith College with a Bachelor of
Arts in Psychology and earned her Master of Education degree in
Cross Cultural Counseling from the University of Pittsburgh. |

Melissa K. Trotta, M.A., MBA Admissions Strategist
Melissa
is an expert admissions strategist at EXPARTUS and works with MBA
applicants to develop winning and compelling personal brands. Melissa
has over 15 years of higher education experience in the areas of
admission, recruiting, and academic affairs. She is currently Assistant
Dean of Admission at Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering, where
she recruits students nationwide and manages the admission process
for one of the most selective undergraduate engineering programs
in the country. Melissa has served as Director of Admission at the
John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, as well
as Associate Director of MBA Academic Affairs at Harvard Business
School. She has also held admission positions at Brandeis University
and at the College of New Jersey. She enjoys helping individuals
learn more about themselves as they move through the admission process.
Melissa graduated
summa cum laude from Boston College with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications
and earned a Masters degree in Higher Education Administration,
with Distinction, also from Boston College. |

Adaobi Arpino, MBA
Adaobi
is passionate about mentoring and helping young professionals develop effective strategies to achieve their personal and professional goals.
Adaobi has worked extensively in the financial services industry. She is a product controller at JP Morgan Chase. Prior to that, Adaobi was an Analyst in Ford Motor Company’s auto-backed receivables securitization funding team where she analyzed its assets to increase funding capacity. Prior to that, she was a part of United Rentals, Inc. treasurer’s office focused cash management for the firm’s US, Canada and Mexican operations. Adaobi began her career at MIT Asset Management, Inc. where she performed market research, due diligence and financial analysis on alternative investment strategies targeted to high net worth and institutional investors.
Adaobi earned her MBA from Columbia Business School and graduated summa cum laude from Barry University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and International Business. Adaobi is also a member of DAWN, a group focused on developing women nationally and an Advisory Council member of Angels Abroad, the social venture arm of 85 Broads.

Emmanuel
Obiechina, Ph.D./Advisor
Emmanuel
has served EXPARTUS in a key advisory capacity since 2002, bringing
to the firm more than 40 years of educational experience as an administrator,
scholar and researcher in the United States and abroad. He is a
former Visiting Scholar, Department of Afro-American Studies, English
and American Literature, and Language at Harvard University, where
he was also a Fellow at the W.E.B. Du Bois Institute for Afro-American
Research. Emmanuel's involvement with college and graduate admissions
includes his position as the former Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Dean
of the Graduate School at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Nigeria.
Additionally, he is a former Fellow of the Woodrow Wilson Center
for International Scholars, Washington, D.C. Emmanuel grew up in
Kano, Nigeria and earned his Ph. D. in English from University of
Cambridge in Cambridge, England, and his BA with Honors in English
at University College in Ibadan, Nigeria. |

Obinna Isiadinso, Portfolio Manager & Managing Member, Monolith Investments Management
Prior to joining Monolith Investments, Mr. Isiadinso was an Investment Analyst with Laurus Capital Management, a $1 billion hedge fund that makes direct investments in publicly traded small- and micro-cap companies globally. Mr. Isiadinso was involved in all aspects of each investment, including screening and evaluating potential investments, due diligence, financial analysis and ongoing portfolio management. Mr. Isiadinso completed investments in the lodging, business process outsourcing, building materials, biopharmaceutical, and investment management industries.
Prior to joining Laurus Capital in 2005, Mr. Isiadinso was the Assistant to the President and Chief Operating Officer of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide. In this role, Mr. Isiadinso worked directly with senior management worldwide on diverse matters in nearly all functional areas including finance, strategy, development and operations. His responsibilities include financial analysis, deal structuring, management assessment, and leading cross-functional teams.
Prior to joining Starwood in 2002, Mr. Isiadinso was a Summer Associate with CDC Capital in London where he created a global investment strategy for the emerging markets media and telecommunications sector outlining preferred regions, partners, investment types and technologies.
Prior to joining CDC Capital in 2001, Mr. Isiadinso was an Investment Banking Analyst with Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ). Prior to joining DLJ in 1998, Mr. Isiadinso was an Auditor with Ernst & Young’s Financial Services Group in New York.
Mr. Isiadinso earned his MBA from Harvard Business School in 2002 and his BBA from Bernard Baruch College in 1997. Mr. Isiadinso published “Private Equity in Nigeria”, in 2001 for AltAssets (a division of Almeida Capital) in London. Mr. Isiadinso lived in Africa from 1981 to 1985.
