Lucy is a Philadelphia native who started her career as an auditor with Deloitte & Touche in Philadelphia. Deloitte’s growing technology practice sparked her interest in the industry during the tech boom, ultimately leading to her move across the globe to Seoul, South Korea. There, she joined the global business development group of a small public telecom company. She loved the immersion into Korean culture and enjoyed exploring new cultures across Asia and South America in her role.
Lucy returned to the States to attend The Wharton School where she focused on corporate finance and strategic management and later accepted a position with Diageo’s internal consulting group in Norwalk, CT. She loved her role guiding corporate strategy and M&A activity - so much so that even after relocating to California with her husband, she commuted from CA to CT for nearly two years before finally calling it quits. Lucy now resides in Louisville, KY with her husband and three young children.
In addition to the friendships made at Wharton, Lucy’s fondest business school memories include her months spent on Wharton’s musical theater production, as a member of the co-ed intramural ice hockey club, and as her cohort’s community service chair.
Lucy also served as a Graduate Assistant for the Admissions Office, both reading MBA applications and conducting interviews. She continued to assist the admissions office as an alumni interviewer for several years after graduation. She leverages this experience and the resources at Expartus to help clients identify their personal brand and to incorporate that brand into a consistent, memorable voice throughout their applications. She is excited to help her clients navigate smoothly through the MBA admissions process!
